Meet Ergo, the killer of traditional computer mice. Its whimsical design will surprise anyone.
Enthusiast Pranav Kuber got tired of typical computer accessories and created something new – the Ergo computer mouse. The main emphasis in it is on the principles of ergonomics, writes Yanko Design.
The design of the device differs from the appearance of existing analogues. The source compares it to a miniature iron. And indeed, if you look closely at the pictures, you will notice a similarity with this element of household appliances.
The wide surface of the top panel tapers sharply towards the front. The massive middle section appears rectangular when viewed from above. If it weren’t for the bottom of the mouse, which connects the two vertical sides like the keel of a ship, the Ergo would have the exact silhouette of a clothes iron.
According to the author of the idea, Ergo has all the basic functions of a regular computer mouse. The scroll wheel is located horizontally. Physical buttons are visible on the side. What’s new is a large on/off button, as well as flashing indicators to display the signal and strength of the Internet connection.
The designer claims that such a mouse is more comfortable to hold in your hand, unlike all other models. But the position of the scroll wheel is questionable: the thumb will have to make a lot of wiggling movements. It is possible that a large load on the joint will cause pain in the future.
For now, Ergo is just a concept. In reality there is no such device.
