DJI Introduces Air ‌3 ‍Drone with Dual 4K Cameras

Pioneering drone manufacturer DJI⁢ has unveiled its latest⁣ product, the Air 3, ‍which serves as ‍the ⁤successor to the 2021 Air​ 2s.

The DJI Air 3 offers several improvements over the Air 2,‍ particularly in terms of ‍its camera capabilities. The Air 3 ‌is equipped with two cameras, both capable of recording 4K​ videos.

The two cameras​ consist of a wide-angle​ 24mm ‌(equivalent to FF) f/1.7‌ lens and a telephoto 70mm f/2.8⁤ lens. The sensors used are 1/1.3-inch type with dual native ISO for both ⁣the wide⁣ and telephoto ‌cameras.

Users of the Air 3⁢ can ​record videos ⁣in 4K/60​ fps or 4K/100 ‌fps, as well as⁢ capture​ photos‌ with a resolution of 48 MP. The Color Modes‌ available include D-Log M‍ 10-bit and‍ HLG 10-bit.

According ‌to information on ‌DJI’s website, the Air 3 also provides the option to record vertical‍ videos (portrait orientation) simultaneously with both cameras. This​ allows users to dynamically ​switch between wide and telephoto perspectives⁢ for the⁤ same subject,⁣ while still maintaining a video resolution of 2.7K.

In addition to⁣ camera‍ improvements, the battery life of the Air ⁤3⁤ has been enhanced, now capable‌ of flying for 46 minutes, which is 48% longer‌ than its predecessor.

The ⁣Air 3’s batteries⁤ support DJI’s Power ‌Accumulation feature. When​ used with‍ a charging​ hub, users can simply press ⁣a button ‍to transfer power from all connected batteries to a single battery.

With the ‍O4‍ HD transmission system, the Air 3 has a remote control‌ range of up to 20 ⁣km with improved stabilization, along with support for 1080p⁢ 60 fps image​ transmission.

The⁤ Air 3 ‍is also equipped with omnidirectional vision sensing for ​detecting objects in its surroundings, as well​ as the Waypoint Flight ‌feature, which is introduced for the first time in the Air series.

According to KompasTekno, DJI is offering the Air 3 in three packages. The ⁤basic package includes the drone, accessories,⁤ battery, and RC-N2 remote, priced at ‌$1,099 (Rp 16.5 ‌million).
