Introducing Asus Zenfone 10: Specs, Features, and Release Date

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Asus has finally announced its newest smartphone, the Zenfone 10. In the Android cellphone sneak peek session in Jakarta, Tuesday (19/9/2023), the company will launch the Zenfone 10 on Friday, 29 September 2023.

So the newest Android cellphone line from the Taiwanese company, Zenfone 10, is slightly different from the previous Zenfone 9 model.

The most obvious difference between the Zenfone 10 and the previous generation is the chipset used, iOS sensor and capabilities wireless charging.

“The clearest difference is that Zenfone 10 uses Qualcomm’s new chipset, namely Snapdragon 8 Gen 2,” said Galih Wardhana, Product Sales Manager for Asus Indonesia at the Zenfone 10 Sneak Peek event in Jakarta, Tuesday (19/9/2023).

He said, “with the capabilities of this new Qualcomm processor, Zenfone 10 promises fast performance for playing games, multitasking, or capturing moments.”

Regarding cameras, Asus still uses a composition of two rear cameras with 50MP and 13MP lenses. “The current generation of Zenfone supports iOS 6-Axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer 2.0,” said Galih.

When asked further about improving the IOS 6-Axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer 2.0 from the side hardware or software, Galih said, “an improvement on the software side.”

The company has only increased the capabilities of its selfie camera, from 12MP on the Zenfone 9 and to 32MP for its new Zenfone series this year.

Another thing, the Taiwanese company has embedded wireless charging technology in the Zenfone 10. Previously, this technology did not appear on Asus’ Zenfone 8 and 9.

Zenfone 10 now comes in five color choices, namely midnight black, comet white, aurora green, eclipse red and starry blue. In the previous generation, Asus only provided four color options.

Unfortunately, Asus Indonesia is still reluctant to reveal the price of the Zenfone 10 in Indonesia. “Wait for the official launch on September 29 2023 to find out the price of Zenfone 10,” concluded Galih.
