A startup company from Silicon Valley called Humane, is official introduce Their first product is called AI Pin. This AI Pin is a small device that has a projector, camera, speaker and battery. This device can be used as a personal assistant that can be attached to the user’s clothing.
How to Use AI Pin Humane
This AI Pin is a standalone device that does not require a smartphone or other device to operate it. Interestingly, this tool has no screen at all. Users can operate this device via a screen projection onto the palm of their own hand. However, if this method is deemed impractical, this device can also be operated via the user’s voice commands.

This device is equipped with a large language model from OpenAI, namely GPT-4. This makes AI Pin able to carry out commands such as contacting someone by telephone, taking a photo or providing answers to the user’s questions like an AI chatbot.
How much does it cost?
This AI Pin from Humane is sold for US$699 or around Rp. 10.9 million for the United States. However, to be able to use this device, users must participate in a subscription program from Humane at a rate of US$24 or around Rp. 370 thousand per month. This subscription program is required to get a telephone number and also internet access to this device.
To get this device, Humane is opening a pre-order program starting on November 16. Humane promises to send this device to its users in early 2024. Unfortunately so far there is no information about the availability of this device for regions other than the United States.
