“Intoxicated Woman Causes Chaos in Bergen’s City Center”

The police received a report on Friday afternoon about a woman who was walking around bare-chested on Torgallmenningen in the center of Bergen

She was only wearing shorts and was rolling on some kind of cart, the police report.

– Several callers responded to the woman. She appeared intoxicated, mentally unstable or both, operations manager Eivind Hellesund in the West police district tells BA.

When a patrol went over to talk to her, the situation escalated.

– The police had to use pepper spray when she threw the cart at the patrol and hit them, says Hellesund.

The woman, who is in her 40s, was presented to the health service.

– She is being reported for violence against a public servant and disorderly conduct, says the operations manager.
