Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — Intisar al-Sisi, wife of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, welcomed, on Friday, America’s first lady, Jill Biden, wife of President Joe Biden, with the latter’s arrival on a visit to Egypt.
Intisar Al-Sisi published pictures of her reception of Jill Biden on Facebook, commenting: “Ms. Jill Biden, the first American lady, is a dear guest of Egypt, and as I welcome her to her second country, Egypt, I look forward to the visit being a new step towards strengthening the Egyptian-American friendship.” And I wish her the best of times in Umm Al-Dunya.”
Jill Biden attended the wedding of Jordan’s crown prince, Thursday, in the Jordanian capital, Amman. The Egyptian president’s wife and daughter were also among those attending the wedding.
