Intimidating Graffiti Appears at Mayor’s Private Home before Municipal Elections

The PSC of Sabadell has denounced this Saturday the intimidating graffiti that has appeared on the property where the private home of the mayoress and that party’s candidate for re-election is located, Marta Farrés24 hours before the municipal elections.

In a statement, the PSC denounces that the graffiti have appeared with “the signing of the Platform for People Affected by Mortgages (PAH) and after the proclamation of the Festival of the Creu Alta neighborhood made reference to the location of the address”.

The PSC points out that “attacking the private home of a public representative is a serious act, both for the attack on privacy of her and her family, as by the undemocratic background proving”.

“They will not make me lose hope and the desire to work positively for Sabadell. But neither will I tolerate any aggression nor will I remain silent in the face of them. These attitudes should have no place in our city,” Farrés wrote on his Twitter profile.

The PAH stands out

From the local section of the Socialist Party, the neighborhood association of the Creu Alta is asked to “dissociate itself from the proclamation on Friday where the address of the mayoress was indicated.”

The PAH has ensured for its part that they are not “responsible for this action” and in this sense they point out that when they reproach Marta Farrés for her attitude “it is in the municipal plenary sessions or in the acts in which she intervenes, such as the electoral debate last Wednesday.”
