A teenager from Klagenfurt sent intimate pictures to a stranger – and was then blackmailed.
After sending intimate photos to an unknown perpetrator via social media, a young man from Klagenfurt was blackmailed by the same perpetrator. He went to the police.

Yesterday, Saturday, August 3rd, at around 9:45 p.m., an unknown perpetrator contacted a young person from Klagenfurt via Instagram and Snapchat. As the conversation became more intimate, the Klagenfurt resident sent intimate pictures, of which the perpetrator took screenshots.
Klagenfurt resident called the police
The victim was then informed in another chat that all the pictures would be published if he did not immediately buy gift cards worth several hundred euros online. The man from Klagenfurt did not cooperate and called the police, where he filed a report. Accordingly, no damage was caused by the crime.
