WASHINGTON (UNITED STATES) (ITALPRESS) – On the occasion of the ceremony that awarded the Leonardo da Vinci Business Prize to Carlo Messina from the NIAF – National Italian American Foundation, the Managing Director and CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo, speaking in connection, commented : “As we approach the celebration of the United States’ 250th anniversary, it is important to remember that the relationship between Italy and America is based on shared values, cultural connections and an enduring economic partnership. The National Italian-American Foundation gives voice to millions of Americans of Italian descent, who have helped make the United States a great country, and is committed to maintaining strong ties between Italy and America. The unique relationship between the two countries brings benefits to both, as well as to Europe and the entire world: Intesa Sanpaolo is a leading player in this relationship. It all started with the success of Italian immigrant communities, such as Little Italy in New York, which attracted Italian banks to America.
