In recent years, there have repeatedly been judgments against former Nazi perpetrators for aiding and abetting. One of the people who pushed the processes forward is former judge Thomas Walther. He worked at Bavarian district courts and shortly before retiring he switched to the Central Office for the Investigation of Nazi Crimes in Ludwigsburg. Even in his retirement, the now almost 80-year-old still initiated proceedings. There could be one last trial in Germany. Doris Bimmer spoke to him.
