It will be, yes, after being elected by the coordinator of the Atlantic Tide, the person in charge of build networks and ties Among the different forces that were called “of change” in the municipal elections of 2015, Podemos, Anova, Esquerda Unida and other parties in this orbit, now fractured, in order to form a candidacy for the regional elections. He will be responsible for the Confluence and Cohesion area, that “good man” who will try to form a “wide alternative to Feijóo”.
This is the main objective of a Ferreiro that “in principle” is moving away from the first political line because, he says, “there are plenty of people” to be placed in those positions. Xulio Ferreiro has been in the interview for the Weekend of Radio Coruña Cadena SER.
This same week contacts will begin with the different political forces to form a single list for the Galician appointment with the polls, but which was born, says Ferreiro, with a vocation for survival. Meetings also with PSdeG and BNG
Former mayor Xulio Ferreiro will also meet with officials from the BNG and the Socialist Party in his round of contacts to re-weave a space of confluence for the regional elections. Although he admits that they are political forces that already have their defined space outside the tides, he considers that the alternative to Feijoo in the appointment with the polls this year must “the wider the better.”
Ferreiro even recognizes that, although they are different projects, he would like “organized nationalism” to open doors to other political forces. His objective: to create an alternative for Feijóo to leave the presidency of the Xunta with three legs, in addition to the confluences, the BNG and the PSOE.
