Li Zhiying’s case of taking a British imperial court | The Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress did not see the interpretation of the law on the agenda Tan Yaozong: I don’t know when the central government will deal with it

The Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress will hold a meeting from 27 to 30 this month, but the official agenda does not include the interpretation of Hong Kong’s national security law. Tan Yaozong, a member of the National People’s Congress Standing Committee, said the agenda is decided by the meeting of the president of the National People’s Congress and it was unclear why there is no Hong Kong agenda.

Tam Yaozong also said that it is unclear when the central government will deal with the SAR government’s request for SAR. A new agenda was added during the meeting in the past, but it is unclear how this time it will be decided by the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress. He also said that if it will be discussed in the meeting at the end of the month, “this is the best opportunity”.

As for whether there are variables or other methods, Tam Yiu-chung said he is not clear, but believes, “It would be better if Hong Kong could solve it by itself.”
