Initiated and led by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research since 1991, the Fête de la
science is an event that takes place over 10 days, every year at the beginning of October.
Free events, intended for all audiences, in mainland France, overseas and internationally.
Thousands of scientific, cultural and educational players are mobilizing to share science,
techniques and innovations.
Museums, centers of scientific and technical culture, universities and schools of higher education, centers
of innovation, libraries and local cultural venues… many sites are opening their doors.
The regional coordination of the Fête de la science in Hauts-de-France is entrusted by the State and the Region to
the Ombelliscience association, regional agency for scientific, technical and industrial culture (CSTI).

Job Description

Under the responsibility of the event coordinator and the communication and media officer, the intern will be in charge of:
– Assist the two project managers in their relations with the actors of the Fête de la science (by email, telephone and during occasional meetings);
– Assist in the processing of data from the application files of project leaders wishing to integrate the programming of the Fête de la science in Hauts-de-France;
– Contribute to checking the information (intended to constitute the programming) registered by the project leaders on the national website of the Fête de la science: https://www.fetedelascience.fr
– Assist the coordinator in the preparation of elements for the meetings of the regional steering committee, in particular the labeling advisory committee;
– Assist the communication and media officer in her missions (development of programs for the general public and schools, preparation of elements for the press kit, making external contacts, relaying social networks, etc.);
– Participate in internal work meetings and in the life of the association;
– Participate in other communication actions (writing news, publishing on social networks, press relations, document layout, etc.);
– Occasionally participate in other activities of the association.
