One of the “Maritime Insurance” teams at Clyde & Co Paris is looking for an intern for a period of 6 months, between January and July 2025.
Clyde & Co, an international business law firm, has over 2,500 legal professionals in over 50 offices across the UK, Europe, Africa, North and South America, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
Required profile:

Preferably a student lawyer, or a Master 2 student in Maritime Law / International and European Law / Insurance / Business Law,

Fluency in French and English, including writing required,

Experience in a law firm and/or insurance firm preferred.
Enthusiasm, initiative and hard work are expected to be characteristics during your internship.
Missions:
We invite you to join a human-sized team in which you will fully integrate.
We work mainly in insurance law in relation to maritime law, transport law, business risk and business law in general.
The cases are mainly international, private law, controversial, with an element of counsel.

- Conduct legal and case research, general or specific, to assist in advising or defending clients,
- Write memo
- Participate in the drafting of formal notification letters, consultations to notify clients, and procedural documents (call and decisions).
- Depending on the schedule, you will be able to accompany the lawyers to hearings and expert opinions.
This paid internship is available for a period of 6 months from January to July 2025.
