The Congolese singer, originally from the city of Bukavu, Cor Akim made headlines on the Internet Thursday, September 8, 2022 after his certification on Instagram. It all started with a publication on these social accounts, from the city of Nairobi in Kenya where he resides since the beginning of 2019, so much so that the buzz has been created on various social networks.
On Instagram, his account on this date, with 151 publications, peaks with over 47,900 (47.9k) subscribers, a number that places him among the most followed personalities of the Great Lakes region on the internet. And with the certification since the morning, he joins the club of rare Congolese musician artists, in the country as well as in the diaspora, certified on social networks.
But why certification?
Generally, certifying an account prevents identity theft. For this reason, certified accounts (profiles or pages) on any social network, in particular on Instagram, are exclusive to celebrities, public figures or global brands.
