Internazionale has reached the final of the Europa League, following Sevilla. The Italians were far too strong for Sjachtar Donetsk in the semifinals in Düsseldorf: 5-0.
It is the first time since 2010 that Inter is again in the final battle of a European club tournament. The club then won the Champions League, with Wesley Sneijder in the ranks.

With Stefan de Vrij in the center of defense, Internazionale often had the initiative, without creating many great opportunities.
After nineteen minutes, the number two of the Serie A. Nicolo Barella intercepted a weak kick from Shachtar keeper Andrij Pjatov and put a close cross on Lautaro Martínez, who headed well.
Sjachtar kept attacking before half time, but Inter’s defense was too tight and too well organized.
