International winners and nominations of Jānis Baltvilks Award 2021 / Day announced

The International Jānis Baltvilks Prize is one of the central events in the field of literature every summer, and the brightest authors of children’s and young people’s literature and book artists will be celebrated this year as well.   • Anita Rupeika on illustrations for Juris Zvirgzdiņš’s literary tale Tobias and the writer (Petergailis, 2020);

The winners in literature, book art and debut will be announced during a solemn event on Jānis Baltvilks’ birthday, July 24, at the Botanical Garden of the University of Latvia.
