Wednesday Jul 26, 2023 A group of international vloggers who arrived at Vallachira Onam celebrations step with Tigers
The famous Vallachira Panchayat Onaghosha, which has completed 60 years, will now be seen by the world. Vloggers from abroad came to Vallachira to capture the Onam festivities on camera and show them to the world. 25 vloggers from 19 countries including America, Britain, Netherlands, Canada, Italy, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Kenya, South Africa, Malaysia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey and Colombia reached Vallachira on Tuesday morning. There are also Raksha Rao and Somjit Bhattacharya from India. They came as part of the ‘Kerala Vlog Express Yatra’ with international vloggers organized by the state tourism department to inform the world about the entertainment diversity of Kerala. Onam celebrations were staged at a specially prepared stage on the bank of Vallachira Chira. Nanthunipat, Ivarkali, Darikan Tullal, Margam Kali, Kummatikali, Pulikali and Vadamvali were performed. Bhadrakali decorated in five colors was also prepared in the festival pandal. Vloggers joined in to step and rope along with the games as they captured the festivities on camera. They said that they got an exciting experience from Wallachira which they could not get anywhere else. Onam celebrations in Vallachira started in 1962. Under the leadership of Vallachira panchayat, all the clubs of the panchayat will participate in the celebration.
