Sunday at Wembley Stadium the third match of the 2024 International Series will be played on English soil between the “hosts” Jacksonville Jaguars and the New England Patriots. The Kickoff

Every football game begins with a kickoff that is kicked from the 35-yard line. A kickoff is also taken after each score, at the beginning of the third quarter and overtime.

Here is some useful information for those going to the English capital to watch the match.

Pub

As tradition of the International Series each team was associated with a pub in London where fans can meet and fraternize while drinking a pint of beer. The pubs for the days preceding the match are dressed in the colors of the chosen NFL team and can also host special events with the presence of players from the past.

For Jacksonville Jaguars fans the pub of choice is the Goldwoodlocated at 30 Old Jewry while New England Patriots fans can meet at Greenwood Sport Pub located at 170 Victoria Street.

How to get to Wembley

There are three different stations serving the stadium, two subway and one train. The one that allows you to travel along the scenic Olympic Way is Wembley Park served by two lines: the Jubilee (grey) and the Metropolitan (purple). The station Wembley Central arrives in the center of the town, about 20 minutes from the stadium, and is served by the Bakerloo Line (brown) or the Overground. The train arrives at Wembley Stadium, 10 minutes from the stadium, and is served by the Chiltern Railway departing from Marylebone station. On match day, special trains are added to the normal schedule.

Events + Tailgate

The only events of which we found traces on passage

Receivers (y receiver and z receiver), tight ends and runningbacks have a hard-coded system that tells them which routes to run on a passing action. What you see in the image above is the so-called standard tree with the tracks indicated with name and number for the different roles. Obviously all of this is adapted to each team’s playbook.

  • Saturday 19th, from 2.00pm, signing by Joshua Hines-Allen and Travon Walker at Mitchell & Ness at 140 Wardour Street.
  • Saturday 19th, from 4.00 pm, cheerleaders and former players will be at the Goldwood.

There is no longer a single area dedicated to tailgate, the shop and various games at the stadium. As you can see on the map there will be The Jungle where you can find shops, games and food. The NFL shop will also be present in the Duuuval Market and continuing the walk outside the stadium, other refreshment points are Beers&Bites and The Den. Opening time for everyone is 10.00 (English obviously).

There is also a long list of prohibited items that you can read HERE. There are two points at the stadium where you can leave your bag if it doesn’t comply with the rules.

The stadium

Access to the stadium will not be free, you will have to enter from the area with the same color as on your ticket. Access to the areas dedicated to fans is only possible for match ticket holders. Wembley Stadium has become cashlessthe only payments accepted are by credit/debit card.

Useful advice

If it is your first time attending an NFL game, enter the stadium at least an hour before to enjoy the warm-up of the two teams. You will see the specialists come out first (kickers, punters, long snappers) followed by the various departments until the whole team is on the field. A bit of stretching, exercises for departments to close the attack against defense together.

Have fun!
