Malappuram | Muhammed Sinan, a Dawah student of Ma’adin Academy, won the Open Doors Olympiad of the Russian Ministry of Higher Education. Sinan achieved this feat from 56,652 students from 196 countries. In the scheme organized for international students with high academic standards, the qualifying examination was held in 14 subjects in two phases in the post-graduate section, two in the research section and three in the research study section. Muhammed Sinan, who won in Linguistics and Literature category, will get free study facility and stipend in various universities of Russia.
In addition to Islamic Studies from Madin Daawa College, Sinan holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Madras and a BA in English Literature from the University of Calicut. Fluent in Spanish, French and Turkish, Mohammad Sinan has bagged prizes at the state level in the School Kalotsav and SSF Literary Festival. He is the son of Kurungadan Muhammad and Hasina, a native of Trippanachi.
Madin Academy Chairman Syed Ibrahimul Khalil Al Bukhari congratulated Sinan for his excellent academic achievement.
