München – It remains. Despite huge investments in world-class players such as Lionel Messi (35), Kylian Mbappé (24) and Neymar (31), Paris Saint-Germain can Champions League not win. On Wednesday evening, France’s top football club failed in the round of 16 after two defeats FC Bayern Munich. Since the takeover by the Qatari investor group “Qatar Sports Investments” in 2011, PSG has been aiming in vain for winning the premier class. The international press leaves no good hair on the star ensemble after being eliminated again.

Losing out in the Champions League against Bayern Munich puts PSG back in a situation that it has experienced many times before.
