Dubai Opera, the home of the glamorous arts and leading platform for the performing arts, announced its special package of shows and events during the month of October, as the city’s most popular entertainment destination hosts a diverse program of five international shows, which perfectly suit the diverse tastes of UAE residents and visitors, as part of an entertainment opportunity. Among these shows, “Jazz Classics”, which will take place on October 1st, is one of the distinguished musical performances that includes an impressive selection of compositions by the greats of the jazz world, such as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone and Miles Davis, Nat King Cole.

The stage of the Dubai Opera will host the famous comedy “Footloose the Musical”, where audiences will be able to enjoy modern choreography and classic songs from the 80s, with stars Jake Quiquenden and Darren Day, through five performances of the show from 5 to ‘8 October.

After the resounding success of his famous concert “Love Letters from Damascus” at the Dubai Opera, composer and musician Iyad Al Rimawi will return to the Dubai Opera on 15 October for a spectacular concert entitled “One Night at Dubai Opera” .
Travis will also return to the Dubai Opera for a full concert from their classic album The Invisible Band, celebrating 20 years since the classic four-time platinum release on October 17.

Riverdance – 25th Anniversary Show is a revamped production of the show that has become a worldwide phenomenon, winning a Grammy Award and infusing the poetics, strength and emotionality of traditional Irish dance. Modern, with stunning lights, screens, sets and costumes to bring the show to life.
The program includes 6 Irish dance performances over four days, including one on 27 and 28 October, and two performances on 29 and 30 October.
