The Surinamese authorities have as announced, recently a so-called Red Notice was sent to Interpol to track down and arrest the fugitive Surinamese ex-finance minister, Gillmore Hoefdraad. That is what the minister of justice in Suriname, Kenneth Amoksi, says to the Surinamese newspaper de Ware Tijd.
Hoof wire, one of whom already national investigation report was published, is included in the scandal at the Central Bank of Suriname suspected of violation of the Criminal Code and the Anti-Corruption Act. A preliminary investigation is underway against him.
A Red Notice is a request to law enforcement officials around the world to locate and provisionally arrest a person pending extradition, surrender, or similar legal action.
