“Taking into account the excellent results of last year’s hackathon, where various innovative ideas were created, this year we are ready to take a step further. We want to attract even more domestic participants, and we are also focusing especially on attracting foreign participants in order to stimulate the idea of exchanging knowledge at a whole new level right here in Latvia,” says HackCodeX organizer Zane Grēta Grants. “We want to provide our participants with an unforgettable experience, as well as promote the recognition of Riga among technology talents as an exciting innovation destination.”
HackCodeX participants will create new and innovative ideas for challenges presented by startups and IT companies within 48 hours. From machine learning to cryptocurrencies and augmented reality, teams will have access to the companies’ latest technologies, data and internal tools. In order to ensure the best conditions for the creation of new ideas, the organizers of the event will not only provide accommodation and meals for the participants, but will also organize cooperation with the international IT community, provide the help of mentors, as well as technological support. The authors of the best solution of the hackathon will receive various prizes from the companies that set the challenges.
Simultaneously with the hackathon, a complementary and educational one-day conference will be organized, within the framework of which several discussions and workshops will take place on the most current topics in the field of computer technology and programming. The event will focus on artificial intelligence solutions, quantum programming, as well as cyber security challenges. Domestic experts will also be joined by international IT experts from Europe in the discussions.
HackCodeX is organized for the second year by the innovation company Helve with the aim of developing innovations and promoting co-creation between companies and with young talents.
