The French champions Paris St. Germain have found their new coach for the next attempt at the long-awaited Champions League title.
Trainer Christophe Galtier has a two-year contract with the French soccer champions Paris St. Germain signed and will be officially presented at a press conference on Tuesday (2:00 p.m.). This is reported by the AFP news agency, citing a “source familiar with the matter”. Galtier, 55, was also spotted at the PSG office on Monday evening, videos on social media suggested.
Galtier, most recently coach at OGC Nice and recently replaced there by Lucien Favre, has been a top candidate for Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar for weeks. Argentinian Mauricio Pochettino (contract until 2023) came under increasing pressure towards the end of the past season, in which the PSG star ensemble alone won the national championship.
