Virtual concept study (VR) for the complete equipment of road trucks for the authentic presentation of bathroom furniture collections from a leading international manufacturer (Berufsakademie Holztechnik Melle)

A new dimension of the trade fair experience – experience our mobile exhibition van in virtual reality. The project: The Melle Vocational Academy is working with the bathroom furniture manufacturer Badea Bauformat Küchen from Löhne, a development project on the threshold of market launch, which is being implemented by students of the wood technology department in the 6th semester. The aim of the project is to design a mobile exhibition vehicle that is available to badea’s field sales staff to present the badea bathroom world collection to customers. The goals: Functionality, sustainability and a positive feel-good factor for the customer represent the overarching project goals. The limited space requires a vehicle concept with the most modern and innovative solutions. Minimalism & lightweight construction are the approaches for optimal use of space, reduce energy consumption and create sustainability. The benefit: The practical project offers a great opportunity for students to implement theoretical knowledge from their studies on the threshold of practical application. For the practical partner, Badea, innovative and sustainable solutions are created as part of a roadshow trade fair. The mobile exhibition vehicle is a real concept that is then implemented and represents a modern development of the trade fair landscape for badea for the first time. The concept was developed as a 3D model and will be available to all interested parties with VR glasses at the Melle Vocational Academy’s themed stand during the Furniture Days impressively presented.
