Thiruvananthapuram: Renowned French director Sheen Luc Godard has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award (Rs. 10 lakhs) as part of the Kerala International Film Festival.
Goddard is the director who led the French new wave that changed the course of world cinema. He has adapted the grammar of world cinema and directed 45 films, including Brathouse, Weekend, Alphaville, and A Woman Is a Woman. Goddard will attend the awards ceremony online. Adoor Gopalakrishnan will receive the award for him.
