On the third day of the Thalassery Film Festival, Indian films received rave reviews. Written and directed by Shanavas Naranipuzha, Kari is a pointer against the caste system prevailing in the society. The film was screened in the homage section as a tribute to Shanavas Naranipuzha.
In the Indian film category, the Tamil film Kuthiraiwal, God on the Balcony, The Shepherds and the Seven Songs were also screened. In the Malayalam film category, Attention Please and Wank were also screened. In the Kaleidoscope category, Malayalam films like Biryani and Vasanthi were screened.
