Riyadh: An international exhibition delegation arrived in Riyadh for discussions related to the implementation of the World Expo 2030. The visit was to discuss and evaluate the dossier of application submitted by Saudi Arabia to host the ‘2030 World Expo’.
The team headed by International Exhibition Management and Budget Committee Chairman Patrick Specht arrived in Riyadh. Fahd bin Abdul Muhsin Al Rashid, CEO, Riyadh Royal Commission, said that it is a pleasure to welcome the exhibition delegation to Saudi Arabia so that they can see and assess their readiness and potential to host the exhibition.
The visit will be an important opportunity for the team members to get a closer look at the promising projects that the country’s capital, Riyadh, is witnessing. This will make it an ideal global destination for tourism and investment. The CEO said that Saudi’s bid to host this globally unique event highlights the great attention and consistent efforts of the government. During the five-day visit, the team members will meet with several ministers and experts.
In September last year, Saudi Arabia applied to host the 2030 World Expo. The delegation will discuss various technical aspects of related document compilation.
