However, there is no order to stop military operations, raising questions about its effectiveness.

17 judges of the International Court of Justice will enter law school.

On the 26th local time, the International Court of Justice located in The Hague, Netherlands, ruled that Israel must take all measures to prevent acts of genocide.

It ordered its troops to refrain from committing genocide and punish direct and open instigation.

Evidence of genocide charges was also preserved.

He also requested that measures be taken to improve the humanitarian situation of Gaza residents.

″The court recognizes the seriousness of the human tragedy taking place in Gaza and is deeply concerned about the ongoing loss of life and human suffering.″

The Palestinian side welcomed the ruling, saying, “We now have a legal obligation to stop the genocide in the Gaza Strip.”

The South African side that filed the lawsuit against Israel also evaluated it as a decisive victory, saying, “It was determined that Israel’s actions were highly likely to be genocide.”

On the other hand, Israel protested, calling it an “absurd ruling.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized his decision not to issue a cease-fire order, saying, “Israel’s refusal to demand that its defense rights be revoked is justified.”

In addition, they decided to suspend direct flights to South Africa, which filed a lawsuit against them, from March.

However, analysis suggests that Israel is unlikely to accept this order.

This is because there was no mention of a ceasefire and there was no way to enforce the order.

In fact, in 2022, Russia was ordered to stop military operations, but the war between Russia and Ukraine is still ongoing.

In particular, it has not even been possible to determine whether Israel actually committed genocide in the Gaza Strip, and it is unclear how many years it will take for a decision on this to be made.
