International Composer Dhafer Youssef to Perform at Tanweer Spiritual Music Festival

Sharjah, 8 October / WAM / International composer and Tunisian oud player Dhafer Youssef will be a guest on the third day of the “Tanweer Spiritual Music Festival”, the first festival of its kind in the region, which will be held in the Mleiha Desert in Sharjah from the 24th to the 26th of next November, and he will accompany the audience. On a cultural journey that bridges distances and celebrates the common musical and human heritage.

Artist Dhafer Youssef, who has developed innovative musical styles that combine jazz, Sufi music, and classical pieces, presents an exceptional artistic performance that captivates spiritual music lovers around the world.

The festival brings together an elite group of unique artists with exceptional experiences in music, including Amir John Haddad – the artist prince who masters playing a variety of musical instruments and mixes flamenco music, Arabic rhythms, classical pieces, and a variety of other musical forms in his artistic performances, in addition to Chantrice Siba, who performs Music that connects the audience to nature through its spontaneous melodies.

The festival will host international percussionist Daniel Sayegh, who takes listeners with his unique rhythms to new auditory worlds, alongside Maria Koeman, known for her passion for music whose roots go back to religious music during the Byzantine Empire.

The list of participants includes Mongolian singer Tumenjargaltsirinadmed, who will join the “Khozaktan” band, which combines traditional Mongolian musical instruments with khoomi melodies or “throat singing” to transport audiences around the world to the aesthetics of Mongolian heritage.
