This will be the first time that the International Children’s and Youth Book Fair (FILIJ) will be held in Bosque de Chapultepec.

In the first section of Chapultepec Forest, on av. Heroic Military College and very close to the Altar to the Homelandthe International Children’s and Youth Book Fair (SON) 2023 comes with great surprises. And to soak in literature at childhoods y youths Mexican.

Ramona Flowers, director of programming at the SON 2023 confirmed in interview for IMER News that access will be through the doors of Flowers y The Breaker (The Quebrada). At a time from 9 AM until 7 PM. So that people can enjoy the workshops, conversations and all the literature dedicated to them.
28 micro fairs in 9 more states and 19 countries
Through more than 150 workshops, 80 shows of cine, theater, danza, oral narratives, storyteller, three exhibitions of photojournalism, illustration and one especially dedicated to the telebachilleratos, Flowers encouraged people to attend. And if you are outside of Mexico City, you can also enjoy it.
With the idea that the FILIJ be decentralized, Flowers highlighted that 28 micro fairs mirror in 19 states of the Republic. And in countries like Colombia, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, Spain y USA. Where there will be workshops, conversations, and some online broadcasts to reach more people.
Girls, boys and young people inaugurate the SON 2023 tomorrow, Friday, November 10 at 12 PM and will be available until next November 20 in the First Section of the Chapultepec Forest.
All activities will be free.
