The research titled: “Internal communication and its relationship with the work environment in secondary education teachers of state educational institutions in the Los olivos district in 2012”; It has been carried out due to the communication difficulties and the unfavorable work environment observed, which made this problem arise and subject it to study. Therefore, the general objective of this research was to find out to what extent internal communication is related to the work environment in state educational institutions of secondary education, from the perspective of their teachers. The research was basic and was carried out under a non-experimental, descriptive, correlational and transversal design; taking as a sample 102 secondary education teachers from state educational institutions in the district of Los Olivos, in the city of Lima, to whom two questionnaires were applied, one on internal communication and the other on work environment to determine the relationship between the variables. of study, relying on the inductive and analytical methods. The results obtained through the Chi Square and Spearman Correlation statistical tests demonstrated that there is a significant relationship between internal communication and the work environment, as well as between the informative level and the relational level with the work environment. It was also shown that the relational level of internal communication has a greater influence on the work environment than the informational level. These significant relationships allowed us to infer that good internal communication allows for a satisfactory work environment and the ways of communicating as socio-emotional expressions influence more than just information in maintaining the work environment.
