After agreeing on the renewal of coach Eduardo Coudet, which was one of Internacional’s pending issues in 2023, the team began looking at the market and consulting the situation of the players.
So far, Internacional has agreed to sign two players. The 20-year-old defender, Robert Renan, who was at Zenit, in Russia; and striker Lucas Alario bought from Eintracht Frankfurt.
In addition to the duo, the Colorados are close to signing another signing for the season. This time, the Porto Alegre club will reinforce the goal and will have another goalkeeper in its squad.

The signing is goalkeeper Ivan, from Corinthians. The 26-year-old player was on loan at Vasco in the 2023 season and returned to Timão, but is not in the club’s plans.

Negotiations between Internacional and Corinthians were already underway. The only thing missing was the goalkeeper’s yes, who had a proposal from América-MG in his hands.

The player evaluated the Minas Gerais club’s proposal, but chose to choose the Porto Alegre team. According to information published by the newspaper GZH, Ivan is expected to sign a two-year contract with Inter.
“Inter finalizing final details to announce goalkeeper Ivan. Definitive negotiation with Corinthians. The goalkeeper also had an offer from América-MG, but opted for Inter. It arrives in Porto Alegre on Monday”, wrote the journalist Bruno Flores, from GZH.
Internacional’s third reinforcement appears on Monday
Ivan should reappear with the Internacional squad on Monday (8), in Porto Alegre. Loaned to Vasco last season, the goalkeeper was a reserve and played four games.
According to the GZH report, Corinthians agreed to release the player for an undisclosed payment that could also involve goalkeeper Carlos Miguel.
Timão wants the rest of Carlos Miguel’s economic rights, which belongs to Internacional. The details, however, should be released by the clubs in the coming days.
Ivan arrives at Internacional to replace the experienced Rochet. Keiller is close to leaving the club and Emerson Junior, who was the third reserve goalkeeper, was loaned to Atlético Goianiense.
