“Interior Design Celebrity Competition with Renowned Guest Jury Member Edward Van Vliet: Hotel De l’Europe Restyling Project”

International furore

Restyling a signature five-star hotel is a task that most interior enthusiasts can only dream of. That is why Géza and Carolien are tackling this fantastic project with both hands. And of course that includes a suitable guest jury member. This time it is the internationally renowned Edward van Vliet. As a designer and product developer, he has been causing international furore for years. You can recognize his style by the contrasting materials and different patterns he uses. With his studio he designs, among other things, luxury hotels all over the world. Van Vliet is therefore also called the ‘dream guest jury member’ of the final assignment.

You already saw a number of tips in the episode, including adding your own signature and placing contrasting furniture. In the video below he gives many more tips from his expertise.

The Interior Project VIPS

In The Interior Project VIPS, six celebrities with a passion for interior design compete against each other every week to find out which of them is the best interior stylist. With the ultimate final assignment: styling a luxury hotel suite in Hotel De l’Europe in Amsterdam. And that’s where we ended up today! The participants were judged every week by permanent jury member Leco van Zadelhoff – himself a pro-amateur in the field of interior design – and a changing guest jury member. This week, that’s up to designer and product developer Edward van Vliet.
