Intergenerational Project: Exploring the History of Augnax and Creating its Coat of Arms

Anita Montagne, representing the association Histoire de transmis, had invited the inhabitants of the town, in the presence of the mayor Mr. Petit, to the town hall, to explain the implementation of the intergenerational project around the history of the village and the creation of its coat of arms. During the first stage, the group of residents works around the history of Augnax. A meeting of the group of residents that was formed has already taken place at the town hall. Several meetings will follow until the end of the All Saints’ Day holidays. The Augnacais will discuss the history of the village. They will list, collect and choose historical events to pass on to children. They will select the photographs and texts, as well as the tools necessary for transmission. History of transmission will accompany them until the presentation to the children of the intercommunal educational group (RPI) of the Puycasquier school, from CE2 to CM2. At the same time, the association will introduce the group of residents and the municipal council to the science of coats of arms in order to master the essential rules. Two other stages will be scheduled to finalize the project.
