If the damage is too great, no one usually cares about a vehicle, not a Berlin note writer. (symbol image) © Imago

A notary recently left a note on a car. He would like to buy the vehicle, despite the “slight signs of wear”, as Instagram users mock.

Fuel prices are skyrocketing, groceries are also getting more expensive – of course, savings are being made everywhere. It is unclear if this is also the reason why a stranger left a bizarre note on a vehicle. Bizarre because the car is no longer in perfect condition. A photo of the vehicle arrived on the Instagram channel “notesofberlin”. Curious notes and notices about Berlin that have been posted by users are regularly shared here.

Editor’s note

This text has already appeared in the past. It was of particular interest to many readers. That is why we are offering it again.

“Even with all the damage”: Zettelschreiber shows interest in the vehicle

“Hi, I’m interested in your vehicle, even with all the damage,” says a note that was left on the said car and can be seen in the photo. “If you want to sell your vehicle, call me. I ask for your understanding.” However, it is only in the second photo that the extent of the damage can be seen: The entire front of the car was destroyed, apparently there was a fire under the hood – definitely nothing that can be fixed for little money. “Every pot finds its lid”, the Instagram channel operators ironically title the images.

Only the wildest half: Instagram users smile for Auto-Note

Other Instagram users get in and discover that the vehicle – which, by the way, is a taxi – can be made fit for circulation again “with a bit of duct tape.” Another user describes the vehicle with the typical words: “slight signs of wear“. Someone else says, “For the Tinder bio, I’ll take, ‘I hope you’re interested in me, even with all the damage.'”

A user is also confused by the phrase “I ask for your understanding”, with which the author of the note concludes his note: “Did he burn it himself? ‘Sorry for messing up the car a bit, I hope you fits my method of negotiating the purchase price. ‘”asks the person. Unfortunately, there is no answer to this, but it always makes you smile. The post has now been made available on Instagram almost 5,000 times liked it. (fk)
