Völklingen. During the Intercultural Week, Diakonie Saar in Völklingen invites you to a colorful and varied afternoon. On Wednesday, September 27th, the Diakonie House (Gatterstraße 13) will open its doors to people of all ages and backgrounds from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. under the title “Young music meets old games – Völklingen comes together”. The afternoon will be dedicated to new intercultural and cross-generational encounters.
Seniors from the open group offerings will introduce younger participants to games from their childhood and invite them to play together. In the inner courtyard, young people from the JUZ Völklingen and the Youth Migration Service present their music, sing and make music.
A buffet with delicacies from different countries – put together by visitors to the facility – ensures your physical well-being. Dynamic getting-to-know-you games at the beginning of the event create a familiar atmosphere. The event takes place in cooperation with the JUZ Völklingen.red./dos
