The pumpkin company led by Jean-Michel Sicard and Jacqueline Martin will play his new creation in Strasbourg, always with the principle of forum theater, where each scene is played twice, allowing the public to intervene at its rehearsal, to give another point of vue and “together, make things happen”.
The things that artists want to move, with “Without hatred, without weapons and without violence”, are homophobia, racism and anti-Semitism. Five true stories, lived in a high school, at work, at the bistro, in business school or in the street. On stage, she plays the joker, the link between the audience and the seven actresses and actors. Between each story, poems, songs: “It’s been several shows that we insert in resonance”. For example, we will hear a poem written by Jean-Michel for Zaher Zahir, actor of the troupe and president of the Cultural Association of Afghans of Strasbourg, very disturbed by the situation in his country.
