Interactions provoked by Nasrallah’s statement after Israeli strike, with a reminder of his earlier remarks.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Social media activists shared video clips of previous speeches by the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, and the threats he made if Israeli attacks took place on Lebanon.

Nasrallah said in the circulating video clip: “The resistance in Lebanon is at its promise, at its decision and at its time, and I tell you any Zionist attack on Lebanon, military or security, any attack that affects any region in Lebanon and affects any person present on Lebanese soil, whether he is Lebanese, Palestinian or of any nationality.” The resistance will definitely and quickly respond to it, and this must be understood in the Israelis’ calculations.”

The Lebanese Hezbollah said that three Israeli raids hit an open area in the Tyre region, pointing out that the Israeli planes left Lebanese airspace, according to the party’s Al-Manar channel.

The circulation of Nasrallah’s speech comes after the Israeli army announced, at dawn on Friday, the bombing of Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, and that came a few hours after a security meeting of the Israeli cabinet, on Thursday evening, in which Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to make “the enemies pay a heavy price.”

The Israeli Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, had ordered preparations for “all possible responses” after the firing of rockets from Lebanon and Gaza at Israel, which came amid escalating tensions in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
