Inter vs Roma: Lukaku’s Return and Possible Goal – Weather Forecast and Ronaldo’s Precedent

The weather forecast indicates whistles at the San Siro on October 29th, starting from 6pm. However, there is no weather warning, only the return of Romelu Lukaku to Milan is on the calendar: the Inter fans are in fact ready to “welcome back” their former idol armed with 50,000 whistles. Will it work? In the meantime, the bookies are already quoting the possible goal of Lukaku’s ex in Inter-Roma…

INTER-ROMA: GOAL ON LUKAKU?

With seven goals in the first eight games, including five in Serie A, Romelu Lukaku is already the driving force behind José Mourinho’s Roma. The Belgian, protagonist of the summer transfer market which saw him contested by all the big teams, is finding himself in the Giallorossi, but since the national team’s retreat he has threatened to reveal his “shocking truth” about his farewell to Inter. As if his return to San Siro wasn’t already hot enough: a goal from Big Rom’s ex is on the board at 1.72 on Gazzabet and 1.70 on Better and Goldbet. Who knows if, in this case, the great ex will also repeat his classic celebration with finger to mouth and hand on forehead under the Curva Nord.

RONALDO’S PRECEDENT

The whistle blower’s idea to torment the great ex is not an absolute novelty at San Siro: the Inter fans also reserved the same treatment for Ronaldo the Phenomenon when, on 11 March 2007, the Brazilian showed up in the derby wearing the shirt of Milan. The whistles, however, did not have the desired effect because Ronaldo, with the first ball touched, scored a great goal with a right-footed shot from outside that failed to strike Julio Cesar for Milan’s initial lead. For the record however, Inter eventually turned the derby around, which ended 2-1 thanks to goals from Cruz and…Ibrahimovic.
