The outbreak of Coronavirus that hit theInter influences the racing championship: after the decision of theATS of Milan, who this morning, following the positivity of four Nerazzurri players (Danilo D’Ambrosio, Samir Handanovic, Stefan de Vrij and Matias Vecino), has prepared the immediate suspension of any type of activity of the team for four days, the postponement of Inter-Sassuolo, which was supposed to take place on Saturday evening at 8.45pm.
The break for the national teams helps the Nerazzurri: the next match of the team’s Antonio Conte it is in fact scheduled only on April 3 against the Bologna, after international commitments in which players will not be able to take part.
The two-week stop will be able to allow the various positive players to negativize themselves and to go back to training. The FIGC protocol in fact provides that ten days of quarantine pass from the swab that detected positivity, after which it would be enough that only one swab is negative so that the player can return to work with his teammates. The four positive players could thus theoretically return to the group towards the end of the month and prepare for the match against Bologna in peace.
But should Inter find themselves in the same emergency situation, the league would not postpone the match and would leave everything in the hands of the Sports Judge, as happened in the two previous controversial cases, Juventus-Naples and Lazio-Turin.
Regarding Inter v Sassuolo, at the moment the most probable hypothesis for the recovery of the game is the date of April 7, or the first available and on the same day as the other recovery of the third day of Serie A between Juventus and Napoli.
