Inter will become champions if they defeat Milan the next day
Inter equaled two goals with Cagliari and will become champion of the A league If they manage to defeat Milan in the derby on the next day, they will have 26 games without losing in the Italian league and could mathematically decide the title four days in advance.
A victory is all Inter needs to lift the twentieth ‘Scudetto’ in its history and destiny has wanted its “final” to be against one of its hated rivals. Milan will try to extend the fight for leadership, but next Monday there will be a favorite and a desire to celebrate the title.
The Interista team found themselves this Sunday with a rival who came from behind twice to add a point that leaves them four points above the relegation zone. The locals opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a shot by Marcus Thuram in the six-yard box after a play by Alexis.
