“Inter take commanding 2-0 lead over Milan in Champions League semi-final”

The two Milan clubs Inter and Milan clashed in a first semi-final in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

Inter took the lead after just 8 minutes with a goal from veteran Edin Dzeko and just a few minutes later Henrikh Mkhitaryan made it 2-0.

Inter, who were tonight’s away team at the San Siro, were clearly the better team in the first half. The team’s Hakan Calhanoglu had a shot on the post and it looked like Inter would get a penalty but VAR changed it.

In the second half, Milan pulled themselves up a bit and had a couple of good chances. However, there were no more goals in the match.

The return will be played on Tuesday next week.
