The way in which Unripe being overtaken by Nzola is the summary of all of Inter’s problems. There is a 35-year-old who arrived on loan to plug a hole in the squad who has become a permanent starter, unable to contain a brilliant 26-year-old both due to athletic deficiencies and a certain amount of arrogance. This is Inter in the championship, a team that seeks experience and gains presumption. In other words, it ages badly. It’s all right for a time, just one. Inzaghi’s team accepts the sprint start of the Spice without getting upset, he doesn’t pretend to direct the game in a few minutes, he understands that the volume of the game is created gradually through fatigue and that the goal is not an acquired right but you have to earn it.

Everything went well up to the last meters, where there was a lack of conviction, seriousness and sporting malice. Here is Inter 2022/23. The penalty taker is chosen and the choice is Lukaku, given that he has signed 13 out of 13 in Serie A, against 9 out of 15 for Lautaro. This team needs a bench with more wrist, more decision, more depth.

Inzaghi can be criticized for other oversights. The one on preventive markings, for example, which costs the goal of Maldini. Inter lose their balance and, as often happens, find themselves two against two in defense with defenders who are unable to handle the duels. Asllani, to say, has become a third choice because he is only seen as a director. It is a too schematic vision of football and above all contradictory to the game proposed by the team. With these ideas, perhaps Porto can be surpassed, but in the league we go slowly and not far.
