In the match at the Giuseppe Meazza, Thursday (17/2/2022) early morning WIB, Liverpool appeared dominant with 13 attempts, but only two on goal. However, both became goals in the final 15 minutes of the match through Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.
Meanwhile, Inter cannot make attempts on goal from a total of nine attempts. The two-goal advantage will pave the way for Liverpool when it turns to host Inter on March 8 at Anfield.

Liverpool fielded Harvey Elliott in midfield with Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara. In front of, Mohamed Salah paired with Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane.
Inter Milan without Nicolo Barella so Arturo Vidal is installed in the middle. Inter threatened the first time of the game when Lautaro Martinez found the ball in the box and fired wide on the right.
In the ninth minute it was Liverpool’s turn to have a chance from chaos in front of goal, but Thiago Alcantara’s shot still flew over the bar.
Likewise with Sadio Mane who headed the ball across from Andrew Robertson but it was still wide. Two minutes later Inter threatened Alisson Becker’s goal through Hakan Calhanoglu.

Liverpool tried to suppress the Inter defense and forced the hosts to dwell more in their own area. Inter but can still provide a threat through set pieces or counter-attacks.

Inter had a chance in the 67th minute from Denzel Dumfries’ header following Calhanoglu’s cross and wide.
GOAL! Liverpool finally broke the deadlock in the 75th minute through Firmino. Starting with Trent Alexander-Arnold’s corner at the near post, Firmino won the aerial duel with Bastoni and the ball was headed home at the far post by Handanovic.

Eight minutes later, Inter, who tried to catch up, conceded another goal. Again set-pieces were the cause when Trent’s free-kick was headed in by Van Dijk and headed towards Salah who kicked it through the crowd, before going into the net.
Until the Inter Milan vs Liverpool match was completed, the score remained 2-0 for the visitors’ victory.
