Liverpool fielded Harvey Elliott in midfield with Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara. In front of, Mohamed Salah paired with Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane.
Inter Milan without Nicolo Barella so Arturo Vidal is installed in the middle. Inter threatened the first time of the game when Lautaro Martinez found the ball in the box and fired wide on the right.

GOAL! Liverpool finally broke the deadlock in the 75th minute through Firmino. Starting with Trent Alexander-Arnold’s corner at the near post, Firmino won the aerial duel with Bastoni and the ball was headed home at the far post by Handanovic.

Eight minutes later, Inter, who tried to catch up, conceded another goal. Again set-pieces were the cause when Trent’s free-kick was headed in by Van Dijk and headed towards Salah who kicked it through the crowd, before going into the net.
Until the Inter Milan vs Liverpool match was completed, the score remained 2-0 for the visitors’ victory.
