Inter Milan snatched against Venice thanks to Dzeko

Failing to shine, the Italian champions took full points this Saturday against Venice, at San Siro.

Inter Milan stumbled for a long time on the poorly ranked Venice (17th), Saturday at San Siro, before winning in extremis (2-1) thanks to a decisive header from Edin Dzeko (90th) which allowed the Nerazzurri to consolidate their position as leader of Serie A. As in the Italian Supercup, snatched from Juventus at the last second (2-1 ap), and as in the round of 16 of the Italian Cup, where the ‘Inter seemed eliminated until the 90th minute before coming back and qualifying in extra time against Empoli (3-2 ap), the end of the match tipped again on the side of Simone Inzaghi and his players.
