Inter Milan managed to beat Juventus 1-0 in the Coppa Italia semifinal second leg. This result made the Nerazzurri into the final 2-1 on aggregate.
Inter vs Juventus takes place at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Thursday (27/4/2023) in the morning WIB. The two teams previously drew 1-1 in the first leg.
La Beneamata managed to win in the second meeting through a single goal by Federico Dimarco. Inter then in the final awaits the winner between Fiorentina or Cremonese.
Course of the Match
Inter took the initiative to attack at the start of the game. Several attacks were able to threaten the Juventus goal, but never ended in goals.
The Nerazzurri successfully opened a 1-0 advantage in the 15th minute. Federico Dimarco broke into Mattia Perin’s goal after receiving a through ball from Nicolo Barella.
Juventus threatened Inter in the 25th minute. Filip Kostic sent a pass into the penalty box and the ball was met by Mattia De Sciglio’s header, but the direction was still wide of the Inter goal.
Andre Onana finally worked under the crossbar Inter. The goalkeeper from Cameroon saved Kostic’s shot which went into the corner of the goal in the 33rd minute.
Substitute Lautaro Martinez who scared the Juventus goal. The man from Argentina fired a shot from outside the penalty box in the 37th minute, but the ball went straight to Mattia Perin.
No additional goals until halftime. Inter beat Juventus 1-0.
Edin Dzeko tore Juventus’ goal in the second half in the 52nd minute. The goal was then disallowed because Dzeko was first in an offside position when he received the pass.
Juventus really did not appear sip in front of Inter. The efforts of the Old Madame tend to be minimal.
Arek Milik even almost scored an own goal in the 85th minute. Luckily for Juventus, the ball went over the goal.
No goals throughout the second half. Inter won with a score of 1-0.
