Inter Miami’s positive progress stopped at the hands of Atlanta United after they were defeated 4-2 in MLS, Sunday (17/9) morning WIB.
In the match held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Miami, which was without Lionel Messi, took the lead through Leonardo Campana in the 25th minute. The hosts then turned the score around to lead 3-1 before halftime following goals from Tristan Muyumba (36′), Kamal Miller’s own (41′) and Brooks Lennon (44′).

In the second half, Miami narrowed the deficit thanks to Campana’s penalty (53′), but Giorgos Giakoumakis and Tyler Wolff dashed the visitors’ hopes of picking up a point as they sealed Atlanta’s victory in the closing stages of the match.

This was Inter Miami’s first defeat in the last 13 matches in all competitions.
