Inter Miami owner: Messi will make the American League among the best in the world – Al-Shorouk

Jorge Mas, one of the owners of the American club Inter Miami, revealed an essential part of the talks that took place during the negotiations with Lionel Messi, the team’s star.

Jorge Mas explained that he was focusing during the negotiations with Messi on the high offers that Saudi clubs could make to him.

Mas said in statements reported by the Spanish newspaper AS: “During the conversations with Messi, I asked a question to convince him to move to Inter Miami.”

He added: “I told Messi: How many elite athletes have had the opportunity to change sports in a country?”

Jorge Mas concluded his statements by saying: “The presence of Lionel Messi in the medium and long term will make the American League one of the best leagues in the world.”

Lionel Messi joined Inter Miami during the last summer transfer period, coming from Paris Saint-Germain, in a free transfer.
